 Yellow Rick Road Productions’ award-winning 93-minute feature documentary An Affair of the Heart is now available on iTunes and other leading digital platforms including Amazon, Vudu, Google Play, Xbox, and Playstation for both rental and purchase simultaneously in the US.

“This film has been a labor of love from day one,” said Melanie Lentz-Janney, Executive Producer/Producer and CEO of Doverwood Communications, Inc. “We have been very fortunate that the film had a successful film festival run which lead to a theatrical opening at the IFC Center in NYC. We are thrilled that in addition to the DVD and BluRay people can now watch the movie instantly via a variety of digital platforms.”

Now on iTunesThe documentary is not a film JUST for Rick Springfield fans. The film has been praised by many people who were completely indifferent to Rick Springfield or on occasion branded themselves non-fans.

The film offers a fascinating look at the fans of a pop rock icon.  An Affair of the Heart is a soulful examination of those who turned a man into a legend. To date, Rick Springfield has sold over 25 million records with 17 Top 40 hits. He has performed for millions of devoted fans over the last three decades. In addition to the documentary’s digital release, Rick Springfield just released his first novel, Magnificent Vibration.  On May 9, 2o14, he will be given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  At almost 65 years old, he remains unstoppable.

“Rick Springfield Revealed” Makes GROWING BOLDER’s TOP 10 Stories of 2011

We are thrilled that the behind-the-scenes story about the making of Yellow Rick Road Productions‘ documentary about Rick Springfield and his devoted fans was selected as one of GROWING BOLDER’S Top 10 Stories/Picks of 2011 (See “RICK SPRINGFIELD REVEALED“)!

The first 5 selections were based solely on the number of viewers they attracted.  The story on the Rick Springfield documentary was produced towards the end of 2011, so it was very exciting to be selected as one of the Growing Bolder staff’s favorites!
